Emerging Leaders

I am formidable advocate for women and minority leadership and have been working for the last few years to build a 21st Century Leadership workforce that is more representative of our society. Whilst already working as a women’s Executive Leadership Coach - I make it my mission to extend this across ages - advocating the need for Diversity and Inclusion.

Leading Up

In the last year, I created and implemented the Leading Up, a leadership programme for talented young minority stakeholders navigating their way through the media industries.

Leading Up is run in partnership with Creative Access, one of the UK most successful diversity and inclusion not-for-profits. The intensive half day programme, was created to help close the post graduate opportunity gap between white graduates and their minority counterparts. Leading Up gives young leaders the tools to become authentic leaders.

Focusing identifying leadership styles, signature strengths, the elevator pitch as well as networking skills necessary to succeed in business, Leading Up is the starting point for Creative Access’s further support. The course is followed up with Creative Access’s mentor scheme across all media industries as well as further leadership development.

The ambition

Motivating the leaders of tomorrow

“Lynn has had a transformational effect on the work of Creative Access. She lights up every room – virtual or actual – with her sheer positivity and dynamism, and has proven time and time again to be an unrivalled role model to our community. She uses a winning combination of hard evidence, psychology and personality to instill confidence in a generation of young people from under-represented communities to progress through their careers. We love working with Lynn and with her by our side, we know we can achieve all that we want to, to support our mission to help all individuals from under-represented communities to thrive in the creative industries.”

Josie Dobrin, CEO, Creative Access

From the attendees

“Lynn is brilliant! I want her to be the little voice in my head when I start doubting myself. She is great, thanks for this incredibly empowering training!”

“The session felt therapeutic. It was well organised and paced and I appreciated the opportunity to speak and reflect with the other participants. The facilitator created an open and empathetic space that embraced our challenges whilst providing personable advice – something I've never felt in a training session before and was deeply appreciative of. By far this was the best style of training I've had, thank you.”

“Lynn was incredible - engaging, inspiring and most of all REAL. Her clear explanation of leadership types and her own work experiences, made it really easy for me to see areas where I needed to improve and could take a different approach in my own workplace.”
